furler and tait

The Newsboys have long been one of my favorite bands to come out of the Christian music scene. I just read that Michael Tait, of dcTalk, will be touring as the lead singer of Newsboys taking over that roll from Peter Furler. Furler, who moved from behind the drum set to role of frontman when John James left the band in the mid-90’s, will continue to be part of the group, but will make fewer live appearances. He’ll focus more on writing and studio work.
