LYLASarah brought along her swift and ball winder.
Sarah H. brought Dodger, the knitting dog.
We suprised Katie with a small engagement celebration. I made a cake and we each gave her white yarn.
The Huskybutts tried to get in on the action. For the most part they were well-behaved and nice hosts. After the way he behaved when his cousin, Tucker, visited a few weeks ago I had to have a talk with Memphis Friday night about being nice to Dodger. And I think he actually heard me because he didn't try to get too Mr. Macho Alpha Dog on little sweet Dodger.
My KeyKey loves LYLASarah. Is it any wonder?

shh... don't tell, but I kinda think I like Memphis best.
They both have their own unique qualities. Memphis is a sweet huskybird.
gorgeous cake. i bet it tasted as good as it looked! it that mural still there in BG? somewhere, downtown? why do i think there was a storm trooper in it? a false memory, perhaps.
Bekka, the only thing I can recall is on the side of a building right before you get into Fountain Square. Now I'm going to have to drive over there and look at it b/c I do not recall a storm trooper.
Thanks for the compliment on the cake. It really turned out to be too much icing and I almost put us all into a sugar coma.
It was so much fun! I'm glad you took some pics.
BTW, I took the cake to my parents' house, and my dad said "You tell that little girl she makes *delicious* cake!"
