antm 7: episodes 1-2

I know I’m behind on my ANTM updates. I’ll try to do better from here on out. I’ve just had a lot on my mind lately.

Here are some thoughts on the first two episodes. AJ- She seems like one of those punk wannabe’s who prides herself on being “different” so much that in the end she’s not really different at all. She’s just kind of annoying. But she takes good pix.
Amanda & Michelle-The twins are so Robin Tunney. At this point they are still the same person to me. But when I look over their portfolios I see that Michelle is the one who is taking amazing photos. While controversial, her bulimia picture is incredible. And her hair sculpture/bird hair photo-FIERCE!

I love one of the twins. I just can’t remember which one it is. - Ms. JAnchal-Gorgeous. Exquerzet! But I think this girl had an attitude that will show up more and more as this cycle progresses. Kind of like Nnenna last cycle.

Brooke - She is cute as a button! Probably one of my favorites so far.CariDee - Another favorite. She’s plucky.

Christian - bleh
Eugena - not feeling Eugena.
Jaeda - I think it was Ms. J who said she looked a little draggy. Um, yeah.
Megan - I like her and she seems to have strong character.
Megg - I might like Megg more if she chilled out on the “rock n’ roll, dude!”
Melrose - she’s growing on me.
Monique - Okay, I’ve been waiting to get to Monique!

Rude. She makes Jade seem perfectly sane and as friendly as a Walmart greeter on Sunday. She poured water on Eugena's bed like my dog, Memphis, marks his yard. She hogged the house telephone for 3 ½ hours. When the girls began to take issue with this she got even uglier. She said everyone was “disrespecting” her. Um, WHA??? And from the other end of the phone her mother says, “When they mess with a child of God they’ve got trouble on they [sic] hands. You tell them I am a Princess of the Throne.” Okay, no. No, no, no, no no. I am a Child of God and I know better than that. Why don’t you and your mother? Stop it. Just stop it. Anchal enters the phone room, and while she did not handle the situation very well, Monique says to her, “Do not hang up on my phone.” Um, it’s not your phone.

Basically, I was under whelmed by the make-overs. I didn’t care of Megan’s super blonde, super short hair. I think they made a big mistake cutting Jaeda’s hair so short. I do love Brooke as a brunette and CariDee’s extensions.
Christian and Megan have been sent home. I picked Megan as an early favorite. And usually my favorites go home mid-way. Not in the second episode. Sorry, Megan.
