I seem to be at the place in life where a good percentage of my friends are going forth and multiplying. This makes a knitter happy and also puts on the pressure. Seeing how I was starting to consider the need for a 12 Step Program due to my Ballband Dishcloth addiction I have moved onto a new habit. The
Mason Dixon Baby Bib. I figure I can knit on these things until a new generation has covered the earth or Jesus returns. Whichever comes first. I’ve started one in the
Sugar and Cream Sage Green that my awesome SP8 Secret Pal sent me while I was at Camp. I won’t say which baby this bib is going to be for seeing as how that might ruin the surprise. Covert underground knitting for tots? Perhaps. I need the excitement of surprises in my life.

I was a bit worried I was just feeding an addiction, but it was easy on my end and I knew you'd enjoy it. I'm glad you're using it for other purposes. :)
My BFF called me this weekend; she was reading the bib pattern and was sure it was wrong. It is (check the errata)! On the top of page 133 it says to CO when it really means BO.
Being a copy editor nerd, I thought it was really, really funny that the typo made the pattern say the opposite of what was meant. Ha ha!
SP-I say you can never have too much dishcloth cotton!
Sarah-remember at the book signing they said they often used the British terms without thinking. Sometimes they'd say "cast off" when we'd say "bind off". I bet that's how the "mistake" was made. Well, we figured it out. If you get to the end and it say cast on do the opposite.
