the end of an era

I am considering doing something I have not done in twenty years. Not go to New Song. I have been to every New Song Festival since it began in 1986. Every single one. Okay, so last year it was really hot and I was only there for about three hours. But I was there. Back in the day I saw Petra, White Heart, DeGarmo & Key (Boycott Hell), Mylon LaFevere, The Altar Boys, and countless others. Not to mention the time my BFF ended up in a choir robe on stage with Ray Boltz. With pride I have attended New Song every August since I was going into the seventh grade. However, considering the current condition of my back I’m thinking it might be time to end the perfect record. It’s not without sorrow in my heart.
