parent a parent. It's been creeping upon BFF. It might sound a bit Erma Bombeck-esque...As with most things in life you can sit down with plams on your forehead and weep. Or you can look for the humor and laugh 'til you cry. So in a torrential rainstorm your mother decides that she needs to dig a trench around the garage because the water is going to go in it. Never mind that there is no sign the water is going in now or that the water has never gone in garage in the past.
Do you...?
a) pretend it is not happening and play on the computer
b) tell her to come inside knowing she will NEVER or has NEVER listened
c) go get an extra umbrella and hold hers over her so she can dig with two hands and get done faster while also noticing that somehow your butt has outgrown your umbrella.
d) and for bonus points then wander about the yard until you find the hoe that she somehow lost during the whole process
My butt is still a bit damp by the way. I am learning my way around her world but today I need a map.
