Random? Who? Me?

I got my match up for Secret Pal 8 today and so far I think the person who I am the secret pal of is really really cool and creative and has pretty pictures on her blog. I also got an email from my Secret Pal (Hello, Whoever You Are!) and it’s all just terribly excited! I was explaining Secret Pal to Twin Cousin today and what he said in reply made me giggle:

That’s really cool! And gloriously girlie. I’m sure you love that part of it!

Indy 500 Pole Day Qualifying was rescheduled for this Saturday due to rain last weekend. It looks like sunny days are expected for Speedway, Indiana all weekend long. AND the B-52's!!! are playing at the track on Carb Day! Today my friend told me that she read my blog yesterday and it made her cry. And here I thought everyone read my blog for my stupidity and wit! It seems that my friend really needed to hear a word about waiting on the Lord. I’ll be honest before then I wasn’t sure why I had the desire to share those notes from my journal. I suppose that still small voice told me that someone needed to hear it. I thought I just needed to remind myself of those things. It just goes to show that God can use even the internet in mysterious ways.

LYLASarah sent me a link about a new Demeter scent. Demeter is one of my favorite fragrance making companies. I have their colognes in Tomato, Laundromat, Black Russian, and Kahala Lava Rock. And there is much more to be had. Now Demeter is coming out with a new fragrance in honor of Play-Doh’s 50th Anniversary! Admit it. You know you licked the Play-Doh.
