frogged bear

Last night I went through a basket of some of my yarn and partly finished knitting projects. I pulled out the gray skein that had #3 double pointed needles sticking in and out. Bubby. I need to finish Bubby. But I started looking at my stitches....and I frogged. I frogged hard. I ripped out the whole thing. Every stitch. I wound the skein into a nice ball. I planned to start over. But I couldn’t find the pattern. So that began a project of going through all the patterns I’ve printed out and ripped out of magazines. Do I threw away duplicates and I started another notebook. I still never found the Bubby pattern. However, I still felt very accomplished. Purging and organization is good for the soul. On more than one occasion I have been mistaken for a retail employee because I have a habit of straightening things and putting them in their proper place on store shelves and hooks. I can’t help myself. If I find a Frangrance-Free/Sensative Skin Dove antiperspirant with the Powder scented Dove antiperspirant I can’t just leave it there. I have to put it in its proper home. If I see Quaker Instant Oatmeal in Apple Cinnamon in sitting with the Kroger instant oatmeal with the Baked Apple I’m moving it. I can’t really control the impulse.
I may find something else in my apartment to organize tonight!

And now for something completely different.

This morning I saw a new guy at work that I trained yesterday. He said hello to me and in an effort to be friendly & welcoming to this new employee I got a little zealous and pulled a Brian Regan. I was trying to say hello while considering saying hey. So it came out kind of like,
“Hei—lllelll”.
