a booga in progress...

I am happy with how the Booga Bag I'm knitting as part of the Knitting Olympics is coming along. I'm not sure that I'll be done by the closing ceremonies Sunday night...but I'll be mostly done. I am very glad that I’ve had the motivation to start this project and dutifully work on it every day. It’s been good practice to knit in the round...especially since I plan to venture into knitting socks soon. Since I don't have a washer and dryer I may hold off on the felting of the bag. Each load in my apt's laundry room costs $1.00. When I need a break from knitting in the round I’ve been picking up this scarf that I’m knitting for a friend. The yarn is so soft & silky and I love the color.
Man, do my eye brows need a good waxing!
