We had amazing times of worship for our Easter services last night & this morning at our main church campus! All of the vocalists from our Melrose campus worship team (except one...who gave birthday last night....so she's excused) sang together. There were about a dozen of us total and we had some church!!!
I think this turned out to be one of my favorite "special choirs" we've done so far. We kept it simple, with mostly two to three part harmonies, as we lead the church in worship of our risen Redeemer.
This was the first time we've sung Matt Maher'sChrist is Risen. I'll admit, this song did not have me at hello. But it definitely grew on me at this week's rehearsal. By this morning the little hairs on my head were standing on end as we closed worship with it.
