1. Enjoy local culture through food. I try my hardest to not eat at a chain restaurant while I’m on vacation.
2. Visit art museums.
3. Collect postcards.
4. Visit historic places and learn about the local history.
5. Visit local yarn shops.
6. Take lots of pictures.
7. See an Indy Car race. (The last few years the only thing close to a vacation that I’ve been on is going to the Indy 500 each May. How much more exotic can you get than Indianapolis?)
8. Knit in the car, plane, subway…
9. Read a good book. Even better if it’s about/set in the place I’m visiting.
10. If my vacation involves being at home I like to sleep and watch movies.
