To make a list of *things* I want and post that list on the internet makes me feel awfully materialistic. I could be all idealistic and say things like, “Peace on earth” or “That all the children of the world would not go hungry” or “To be a more accomplished knitter”. But … that feels disingenuous. Or like I should just copy the words to Amy Grant’s “Grown-Up Christmas List” and post them on my blog. Well, maybe not the knitting part. My mother will think that this list is solely for her.
1) A white Christmas.
Or a few pints of Graeter’s black raspberry chocolate chip ice cream.2) Philosophy shower gel in Double Rich Hot Cocoa and/or Candy Cane
3) A stand-mixer4) Demeter Pick-Me-Up Spray in Dirt and/or Laundromat
5) Mudhouse Sabbath by Lauren F. Winner
6) Crazy Aunt Purl’s Drunk, Divorced, and Covered in Cat Hair: The True-Life Misadventure of a 30-Something Who Learned to Knit After He Split by Laurie Perry
7) One More Drifter In The Snow by Aimee Mann8) Amazing Grace DVD
9) The Joshua Tree Re-mastered by U2
10) A GoKnit Pouch
