thursday 13: 13 things in my make-up bag

I guess I enjoy lists and countdowns. I discovered a new weekly meme called Thursdays Thirteen and I’m going to give it a try. You pick your own topic for the list. I got the new Sephora catalog today, which lead to my theme. And I may be exposing myself as a brand snob when it comes to health and beauty products. I am, that is the truth. I am a brand snob. It is true that you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to tweezers. There, it feels good to admit that in a public forum. I’m also something of a brand loyalist. When you find something that works, stick with it. And if a company proves themselves to you, be dedicated right back. And don’t buy into the hype just because something is on America’s Next Top Model and you’re in the mood to try something new (see # 12). If you find the Benefit Bad Lash works the best and you have some extra pennies in the allowance, and then by all means, spend those pennies. As Heather Locklear says, “you’re worth it.”
