random is a theme

BFF and I do not give each other birthday presents on/around our birthdays. Instead we pick a random surprise moment and send an unexpected package. Even though her birthday is in April her birthday present might show up when she’s having a really bad day in June. BFF-in-Law thinks we’re a little crazy. But we were this way well before I had to share BFF with him.

Last week we decided to start our own knitting/crafty/fun swap. The are participants are as follows: 1. BFF (a.k.a. BeLinda) and 2. BeLinda’s BFF (that would be me). There are no rules unless we decide to make some. And any rule made may be declared null and void at our whimsy. Yesterday I came home to find a brightly colored package waiting for me on my bed. It was full of treasures. Colorings by goddaughter CeeCee (including a handsome elephant)

And the cutest mirror! It says, “You have something between your teeth…right there, ok, got it!” It also included a “paper bag” card book that I commissioned her to make for someone.
