the internet. bringing people together since al gore was a boy.

Yesterday I came home and was told a package had come for me. A package!?! For me?!? How exciting! I love good mail. Especially packages! And there on my bed lay a manila mailer with a Denver, CO postmark. CARA! Cara sent me a package!!!!!!!!! How awesome is that? I was so moved and touched and giddy and overcome that all I could do was make teenage girl noises.

There was the sweetest note about my “new home” and pigs flying. Inside was a Flying Pig Paper Animation Kit, some temporary tattoos (always fun), and a notebook. Everything was wrapped very pleasingly to the eye. Yes, presentation is everything. And Cara knows how to make a presentation!

Cara, it made my day. Nah, my month.

i must confess that the wrapping job was not my work of art. the shop i bought it for makes gift wrapping into an art form. every gift is wrapped differently and they spend about 10 minutes doing it!
