Last night my phone rings after supper and caller id says it is Jennifer my best friend. SQUEE!! We haven't talked in ages. I answer the phone and Jennifer immediately launches into a story and is laughing.
So I chuckle and then frantically begin to listen as nothing makes sense to me. People who? Why are they funny? I have not heard of them. And they what? Ha ha ha ha. Um what? Who? After a couple of very strange minutes my mother comes into the room and asks me a question. So I answer her and my brain whirls as I try to connect the dots in a story that is supposed to be funny to me FOR SOME REASON I CANNOT FIGURE OUT. And then Jenifer pauses and says "Is this BeLinda?" WHAT!?! I am your best friend! You called me. And then the laughter begins. Pours out from the depths until tears are running down my face. And the story that made no sense is now even funnier.
You are going to blog what you did aren't you? I am still laughing.
Right. So I thought I hit LYLASarah's speed dial button on my cell phone but I hit #3 for BFF instead. For the first few minutes of my story I can't figure out why Sarah isn't laughing more at the hilarious story I'm telling her about some people we work with. BFF and I laughed so hard over my mistake that we were both crying. You know someone is your BFF when they will listen to a story that makes no ZERO sense to them and patiently waits for your to explain.
