I've been in a Sam Phillips music kind of mood lately. The woman formerly known as Leslie who is married to T-Bone Burnett. Not the Sun Studio guy with the beard. Not that I'm discounting the latter...Thank you Sun Records for Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, The Killer, and The King.

i have been in a slow, melancholy, chicks with guitars and broken hearts mood all winter. but i am breaking out . . . just bought an old-school stevie wonder album. you know, the funk stevie . . . not the "i just called to say i love you" stevie. so goood!
