give a man a scarf, you’ve warmed him for today. teach a man to knit; and you've made an alpaca farmer very happy

Today I taught a co-worker how to knit during our lunch hour. She learned how to cast on & the knit stitch. She already has about 15 rows of a scarf done! I’m such a good teacher!! Okay. In all actuality Marilyn is a very quick study. I'm proud of my student. GOLD STAR MARILYN!

I like knowing that I'm doing something that (mainly) women have been doing for years. It's so organic feeling.
