THE BEST INDY 500 EVER! ! ! ! !

I love Indy Racing just about as much as I love knitting. Today I found out that two-time Indy 500 winner Al Unser, Jr. has announced that he will join Michael Andretti in coming out of "retirement" to race in this year's Indy 500 Memorial Day weekend.

Eddie Cheever announced a few months ago that he would be getting back into the driver's seat after two seasons as a team owner (BTF John thinks that American Idol's Taylor Hicks is Cheever's long lost son).

AND Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy's "Dr. McDreamy") is now co-owner of Vision Racing which Thomas Sheckter ("Dr. McSpeedy") has joined. Dan Wheldon has gone to Target Gannasi (and is no longer my IRL boyfriend). The first race of this season is the Sunday. I may have a stroke.
