G-diddy

My nearly 94 year old grandfather is in the hospital. On Saturday morning he fell while standing next to his wheelchair in his nursing home room in Columbia, Ky. He broke his femur near his hip. On Sunday morning he had surgery at the hospital in Glasgow to put a pin in his leg. Early Monday morning my Uncle Ken got a call that Granddaddy had had a heart attack. My dad and his brother’s went back to the hospital in Glasgow. They did testing all day yesterday and now think it wasn’t a heart attack...but some kind of heart “episode” that my dad could not remember the name of. He’s been in a lot of pain and been on a lot of morphine. It was kind of an emotionally wearing President’ Day weekend.

My Booga Bag is coming along nicely. I'm on the second ball of yarn. I love this Noro yarn. It's stripping up very nicely. I belive I'm on track to finish by the closing ceremonies of the Olympics. Pictures to come.
