Yesterday I started knitting the "Picot Edge gauntlet" from the premiere issue of
knit.1 (Fall 2004). I'm using the suggested yarn - Lion Brand Microspun in Ebony (it's very soft). There are several things in this issue of Knit.1 that are on my to-knit list. Like the Ribbed collar (I need 2 balls of Kool Wool in Charcoal and I've not seen Kool Wool at Hobby Lobby or JoAnn's in recent visits). I'd also like to knit the leg warmers and maybe the Ruffled Purse (after I get the boogy bag and the buttonhole bag done).
Last night The Knitters came over for some Thursday night knitting and snacking. We always share new knitting books, magazine, and catalogs. It was a relaxed evening of knitting as we watched DWTS (Master P. was still not that good but for the first time he looked like he was actually having fun!!!) and then The Office.
I WILL get the ruffled neck warmer done this weekend. I will.
