There is a website called Go Fug Yourself (as in Fugly...see the link in my sidebar to the right) that I read nearly everyday. The girls that that run this blog often put in words what I feel but lack the writing skills to express. Today’s post held a little gem in the form of a David Hasselhoff video that everyone I know has to see. I really don’t have words for it. It’s quite simply one of the oddest things I have ever seen in my entire life. EVER. I’m sure if my grandmother could see it she’d say, “That boy is on dope.” But, this is the same woman who once made a comment about an Aretha Franklin video (maybe Freeway of Love or Who’s Zoomin’ Who?) that to this day, I am still trying to figure out. Aretha had some wild crimped out hair (it was the 80’s) in that video and my grandmother (who I loved and respected and dearly miss) said, “I don’t like to watch these videos because it makes me feel like I look like that.” (Referring to Ms. Franklin’s wild hair). I was in the 7th grade. At the time I kind of expected to gain enough wisdom over the years to one day understand her statement. I’m now 32 and I still don’t get it.
