I watched Dark Water this weekend and thought it was an amazing movie. The next time I'm in NYC I plan to ride the tram over to Roosevelt Island. The movie has a very gray feeling to it. Are you really seeing what you think you're seeing? As usual Jennifer Connely was wonderful (you'll especially think so if you suffer from migraines) as was the little actress, Ariel Gade, who played her daughter, Ceci. This is my type of "horror" film. I’ve enjoyed other Japanese horror films and their remakes (Ringu/The Ring, Ju-on/The Grudge) but this was perhaps my favorite of the genre. The Japanese original, Honogurai Mizu No Soko Kara, will be going into my Netflix Queue today.
