First Knitter's Retreat

This weekend The Knitters (My Sarah, Katie, Katie’s Sarah-PLUS her dog, Dodger) and I went to Bowling Green to my parents’ house for a little weekend getaway Knitters’ Retreat. It basically went like this. Eat bagels in car. Arrive at Mom & Dad’s. Eat. Knit. Hobby Lobby. Tuesday Morning. Yarn Shop. Eat. Knit. Knit. Eat Kentucky Hot Brown’s. Knit. Knit while watching a marathon of America’s Next Top Model on VH-1 with Uncle Wayne. Knit. Eat. Play Mexican Train Dominos purchased at Tuesday Morning. Sleep. Go to church. Go to my favorite BG restaurant, Mariah’s. Take Knitters on brief tour of downtown BG. Ooh and ahh over Dodger. Tell Dodger he’s good sweet cute boy. Knit. Pack. Knit. Home to Nash.

Unfortunately, none of us brought a camera to capture all these special moments.

I started a scarf in a pretty teal that will be someone's X-mas present. I also began Bubby (http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall05/PATTbubby.html). Bubby requires knitting in the round on size 3 needles. Those itty needles hurt the finger tips!
